Bullet, Ephraim, and Ahkan

Music group Ruff N Smooth has finally replied music producer and singer, Ephraim over his claim that the two are ungrateful.

Zionfelix.net heard peeved Ephraim on Zylofon FM in Accra naming Ahkan and Bullet who form Ruff N Smooth as ungrateful musicians since they failed to pay him after he recorded a song for them years back. Ahkan, half of the duo reacting to the allegation called the producer’s claim false adding that he is just an attention seeker.

The singer who was on TV Africa Friday morning to promote his new single, ‘Amina‘ told Nikki Samonas on the station’s morning show that they made Ephraim popular because nobody knew him in the country before they worked together ten years back. According to him, he cannot fathom why Ephraim would now come out to make such a statement a decade after recording ‘Sex Machine’.

To him, he strongly believes that the CEO of SpeedUp Music made the reckless statement to gain attention because he recently released a single and needs the hype for promotion.

“I don’t know why Ephram will come out now years after recording Sex Machine to be saying all these things. We recording Sex Machine with him 10 years ago made him popular in the country. Nobody knew him ten years back and that is one good thing about Ruff N Smooth. We always try to help those nobody know to shine so I don’t know why he made those statements.

I think he is trying to promote a song so he wants to get that publicity. What he said is not true. We brought him into the limelight because nobody knew him . We were able to put him on the map for a lot of people to start working with him and he started becoming famouse.” Ahkan told the show host on TV Africa.

Clement Baah Foh as he is known in real life further mentioned on the program Zionfelix.net mentioned that their song ‘Swagger’ also made music B-Bryte earn fortunes even though they did not pay him a dime.
