King Promise is urging fellow Ghanaian musicians to drop the competitive mindset and build a more united front in the music industry.

Speaking on Hitz FM, the 26th TGMA Artiste of the Year emphasized the importance of solidarity among artistes if the goal of projecting “Ghana to the World” is to be achieved.

“What we can change as artistes is to come together. We can’t say ‘Ghana to the World’ and then move individually. That’s something I try not to do,” he stated.

King Promise explained that he intentionally maintains open lines of collaboration and believes in uplifting peers whenever possible. He said he consistently welcomes opportunities to work with others in the industry.

“I try to involve and engage my brothers in the industry from time to time. I’ve pulled up for anybody who needed me, and I’ve collaborated with anyone who needed me,” Promise averred.

Reflecting on his recent world tour, the ‘Tokyo’ hitmaker shared that he made it a point to bring fellow Ghanaian acts along, providing them exposure on international platforms.

“Even on my last tour, I had Darkovibes with me. I’ve had Quamina MP with me before, and Olivetheboy as well. We have to find ways to collaborate with one another. That’s what our cousins in Nigeria do,” he disclosed.
