Ghanaian hiplife legend Okomfour Kwadee has made his first public statement in months, following a period of intense recovery after a relapse in late 2024.
The musician who is known for his unique storytelling style, appeared on Kwaku Manu’s show and spoke about his upcoming plans to campaign against drug abuse.

Kwadee’s return to the public eye comes after his mother took decisive steps to get him the needed mental and physical recovery.
She entrusted his care to Madam Lydia Abena, CEO of Willingway Recovery and Rehabilitation Centre, who also serves as his attending doctor.
Her efforts, alongside her team, are aimed at restoring Kwadee to his former state of glory.
In this new video, the “Ofie Nipa” hitmaker revealed that he will be leading a walk against the abuse of drugs, with a particular focus on the notorious street substance ‘Red 225.’
The event is being spearheaded by Madam Lydia Abena and the Willingway Recovery and Rehabilitation Centre as part of their broader mission to save lives from the devastating grip of addiction.
During the interview, Kwadee spoke far better than in previous appearances, displaying an encouraging improvement in his health.
