Media personality, MC Yaa Yeboah, has taken a subtle jab at dancehall artiste Shatta Wale following his recent invitation by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

In a post shared on X formerly Twitter, MC Yaa Yeboah criticized the musician and others in the entertainment industry who, according to her, often downplay the importance of education.

According to her, she has always wondered why some Ghanaian musicians mount big platforms only to “rubbish education,” which she believes plays a crucial role in shaping the mind and building society.

She continued that many artistes publicly act as though schooling is irrelevant, yet when faced with legal or professional challenges, they rely on educated professionals to defend them.

She used Shatta Wale’s EOCO case as an example of why Education is important.

She tweeted;

“Funny how some of your fav artists can stand on stage and rubbish school, acting like education doesn’t matter. Yet, when EOCO picked you up, the first thing you said was, ‘I’m waiting for my lawyer before I speak,’” she wrote.
