According to her, the tears flow whenever memories of her late father come to mind.

She revealed that the pain of losing her dad has weighed heavily on her heart, and the sadness is what often triggers her emotional moments while hosting the show.

Despite the grief, AJ Poundz expressed deep appreciation to the panelists of Onua Showtime, who she said have been very instrumental in consoling and supporting her whenever the emotions overwhelm her.

She further mentioned that sometimes she feel like staying off the screen for a while to properly deal with my loss, but sadly, that cannot be done because the work has got to be done too, especially when no other person but Empress Nana Ama Mcbrown has sent you.

AJ Poundz’father’s funeral is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Osino in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
