Charter House, organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2026 have made their first major announcement ahead of this year’s ceremony.
In a flyer currently making rounds online, Charterhouse Productions, confirmed that media personalities Godwin Namboh and Regina Van Helvert will take charge of the red carpet duties for the 27th edition of the prestigious awards.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Grand Arena in Accra, with the red carpet expected to set the tone for what promises to be another beautiful night celebrating Ghanaian music.
The announcement has already generated excitement among fans, especially considering the pedigree of the two hosts.
Both Godwin Namboh and Regina Van Helvert are currently employees of Media General, specifically working with TV3, one of Ghana’s leading television networks.
Also, for Regina Van Helvert, this opportunity becomes the first major show she will be hosting following her recent wedding ceremony to one Dr. Chris.
