The 2026 edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards came alive in grand style on Saturday May 9, 2026, as some of Ghana’s biggest musicians, industry players, celebrities and music lovers gathered at the Accra International Conference Centre for the biggest night in Ghanaian music.

The Grand Arena was filled with excitement, fashion and unforgettable performances as millions of viewers across Ghana and beyond followed the prestigious awards ceremony to witness who would emerge victorious in the various categories.

From emotional and beautiful acceptance speeches to thrilling stage performances, the 27th edition of the awards once again proved why the event remains the most celebrated music awards scheme in the country.

Several artistes made huge statements on the night with remarkable wins across different categories. Medikal grabbed attention early after winning Hiplife Song of the Year with his hit song Shoulder, while Kofi Kinaata continued his dominance in the Highlife category with It is finished winning Highlife Song of the Year.

There were also major victories for stars like Black Sherif, Wendy Shay and Stonebwoy as the night unfolded.
