A viral video showing the reportedly deserted mansion of Ghanaian social media personality and businessman Abu Trica has stirred reactions online following his recent release on bail.
The businessman, whose real name is Frederick Kumi, was arrested in a joint operation involving the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Ghanaian security agencies on December 11, 2025.
According to the United States Department of Justice, Abu Trica was allegedly linked to a criminal syndicate accused of defrauding elderly victims in the United States through romance fraud schemes.
Following his arrest, he appeared before the Gbese District Court and later the Accra High Court, where he was remanded several times before finally being granted bail on May 15, 2026.
In a video shared on Instagram by With Alvin, Abu Trica’s luxurious mansion in Swedru appeared unusually quiet and largely abandoned.
The footage, which quickly spread across social media, showed the once-busy compound with no visible activity and none of the luxury vehicles the businessman was previously known for.
Before his incarceration, Abu Trica frequently flaunted his extravagant lifestyle online, often hosting lavish parties and gatherings at the mansion.
The property was regularly filled with friends, expensive vehicles, and social media influencers during his chilling sessions.
Among the luxury cars reportedly once parked at the residence were a Mercedes-AMG G 63, a BMW i8 Roadster, a Lamborghini Urus, and a Tesla Cybertruck.
The Tesla Cybertruck previously made headlines after Abu Trica’s baby mama, Queenie Abena Oforiwaa, allegedly crashed the vehicle while driving in town.
The latest video has triggered mixed reactions online, with many users commenting on the dramatic contrast between the mansion’s current state and the lively atmosphere it was once known for.
Some social media users expressed sympathy for the businessman, while others pointed to the situation as a lesson about wealth, fame, and legal troubles.
