From an early age, Ghanaian actress Pascaline Edwards says she knew there was something different about her. According to her, she was grappling with experiences she struggled to explain, experiences she believes set her apart from other children.
Speaking in an interview with ZionFelix, the actress reflected on a childhood marked by unusual visions and perceptions that she says only she could see. According to her, both she and those around her sensed that she was unlike other children.
Pascaline explained that people often described her as someone who behaved far beyond her years. She said she was frequently compared to a reincarnated person or an elderly soul because of the way she spoke, carried herself and related to others. In her view, she possesses an old soul and believes she has lived on earth before.
Recounting some of her earliest memories, the actress said she would sometimes be walking with friends and notice people approaching them. At the time, she assumed her companions could see the same figures, only to later discover that she was the only one witnessing them.
She indicated that the reactions of her friends often revealed that something was unusual, although she did not immediately understand why they appeared frightened by what she described.
Rather than receiving guidance or reassurance, Pascaline said many adults dismissed her claims whenever she spoke about the things she was seeing. She recalled being repeatedly told that children should not say such things, a response that eventually taught her to remain silent about her experiences even though the visions continued.
As she grew older, her search for answers led her to consult several pastors in hopes of understanding what she was experiencing. However, she said the explanations she received rarely matched what she believed to be true.
The actress disclosed she often challenged the interpretations offered by religious leaders because they did not fully align with her personal experiences. What began as a quest for clarity eventually became an ongoing struggle to find answers that resonated with what she had lived through.
