The ongoing public exchanges between Bishop Daniel Obinim and his estranged wife, gospel singer Florence Obinim, have taken another dramatic turn after the controversial preacher responded to remarks she made during a recent radio interview.
Florence Obinim, who appeared on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review with Ola Michael on Thursday, June 25, 2026, opened up about her recently gifted white 2025 Toyota RAV4 from Service Machinery Ghana Limited (SMGL) while also touching on aspects of her strained marriage with Bishop Obinim.
During the interview, Florence explained that although she did not specifically pray for the vehicle, she believes it was a blessing from God.
“I didn’t even pray for the car, I won’t lie to you. All I did was praise and worship God, and He saw my plight and blessed me accordingly,” she stated.
She further disclosed that she had, however, prayed specifically for an iPhone 17 Pro Max, revealing that just three days after making the prayer, Bishop Obinim surprised her with the expensive device without her informing him of her need.
Florence also revisited claims that she previously had no personal vehicle despite being married to one of Ghana’s most prominent pastors and said she relied on Uber services and public transport. She further alleged that most of her music earnings were controlled by her husband, leaving her financially constrained.
Barely hours after the interview aired, Bishop Obinim shared a video addressing the issues raised by his estranged wife and issued a stern warning.
According to the founder of the International God’s Way Church, he had not slept because he had spent the night praying before deciding to speak publicly.
He cautioned Florence to desist from making what he described as unsavory comments about him during media interviews while using such appearances to promote her new song.
Obinim warned that if Florence continued pushing him publicly, he would have no option but to expose details about her that would disgrace her.
“If you don’t take time, I will disgrace you,” he warned in the video.
The outspoken preacher further claimed that if he decided to reveal some things about Florence, the consequences would not be pleasant for her.
Among the treats he made was that her own children could eventually hate her, adding that the close relationship they currently enjoy with one another could also be destroyed.
Bishop Obinim also mocked the excitement surrounding Florence’s newly acquired Toyota RAV4, insisting that the vehicle was beneath her standard.
According to him, he bought her a similar vehicle over 16 years ago when they were happily married, suggesting that at this stage of her life she should be receiving something much bigger than the current gift.
He therefore urged Florence Obinim to focus on promoting her music career instead of granting interviews that, in his view, paint him in a negative light.
