Founder and leader of the International God’s Way Church (IGWC), Bishop Daniel Obinim, has publicly addressed the marital controversies surrounding his relationship with his wife, gospel musician Florence Obinim, insisting that he has remained faithful since 2017.

The outspoken Ghanaian preacher has been at the centre of public discussion in recent months following a series of remarks about his marriage that have dominated social media conversations.

The controversy began after Bishop Obinim announced before his congregation that only his biological children and members of his church should oversee his funeral and burial arrangements when he dies, a declaration that explicitly excluded his wife from organising the ceremony.

His comments drew widespread reactions from the public and were followed by another public statement in which he criticised Florence Obinim over her association with Ghanaian fashion entrepreneur Osebo the Zaraman, further fueling speculation about challenges in their marriage.

Addressing members of his church during a service last Sunday, Bishop Obinim sought to clear the air regarding allegations about his personal life, particularly claims of infidelity.

According to the renowned preacher, his last extramarital affair occurred in 2017, and he has not been involved with any other woman since then.

“I have already confirmed on social media that my last extramarital relationship was in 2017. Since then I have not had any encounter with any other woman apart from my wife. No woman in Ghana or in the world can claim that I have had an affair with,” he told his congregation.
