Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy has reacted to the unfortunate events that unfolded at the 2026 Ghana Party in the Park in London.
Earlier reports indicate that the highly anticipated event headlined by his longtime industry rival Shatta Wale was halted following a major overcrowding incident outside the venue.
The annual festival, which attracted thousands of music lovers from across the United Kingdom and Europe, descended into confusion after an overwhelming number of fans reportedly gathered outside the venue, resulting in crowd control concerns and police intervention.
Several videos that surfaced online showed officers dispersing attendees and asking them to leave the area as emergency services responded to the situation.
While many fans expected Stonebwoy to remain silent given his well-publicized rivalry with Shatta Wale and the fact that he was not billed to perform, the BHIM Nation president instead shared a message expressing sympathy for everyone affected by the incident.
Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) page, Stonebwoy wrote:
“This is definitely not the kind of news any event organiser, artist, fan or promoter of the Ghana music agenda wants to hear. Our hearts go out to all those affected.. 🇬🇭🤍”
The message has so far been interpreted by many fans as a show of maturity and solidarity despite the longstanding differences between the two Ghanaian music heavyweights, while others disagree as usual.
