Kumawood actress Louisa Adinkra has shared a striking perspective on relationships. She revealed that a partner’s infidelity would not necessarily be enough to end things for her if he continues to treat her with respect.

Her comments came amid the ongoing conversation surrounding Kumawood actor Oteele’s leaked intimate video, which has generated significant reactions on social media and reportedly caused distress for his wife.

Rather than focusing solely on the alleged cheating, Louisa questioned the expectations people place on relationships, particularly the belief that a woman should expect to be the only partner in a man’s life.

According to her, she would rather have a partner who respects her than one whose infidelity becomes a public confrontation. She maintained that if a man cheats without her knowledge but continues to treat her properly, she would not consider it a major issue.

“It’s something I have in my mind. When someone says they love me, I know that, no matter what, he may cheat. I shouldn’t deceive myself into thinking I will be the only woman in his life. Where should all the other women go to? If you respect me and you cheat on me without my knowledge, I’m okay with that. Just respect me, because respect is very important,” she said.

Louisa also turned her attention to Oteele’s marriage, appealing to his wife to reconsider her reaction to the incident and give her husband an opportunity to return home.

She argued that an act of infidelity does not necessarily erase the foundation of a marriage, particularly when the couple can resolve the matter and restore peace in their home.

“When the man goes out to cheat and comes back, has his ‘thing’ reduced? No, it hasn’t. So she should forgive him, allow him to come back home, and let peace reign,” she averred.

The actress, however, admitted that she was uncomfortable with the circumstances that allowed the intimate encounter involving Oteele and another woman to be recorded.

The decision to record private sexual encounters, Louisa says, creates unnecessary risks, especially when such material can later be exposed to the public.

“I don’t even understand why people record their intimate moments. Mrs Oteele, forgive your husband and let peace reign. Welcome him back home. I think you acted too quickly. Even going live on social media was unnecessary,” she said.

She also questioned the decision to address the marital dispute publicly, suggesting that Oteele’s wife could have handled the matter privately rather than discussing it on social media.

According to Louisa, public reactions can make already difficult domestic situations even more complicated, especially when emotions are running high.

But the aspect of the leaked video that appeared to concern her most was the appearance of a child while the two adults were intimate.

Louisa said the presence of the child raised a separate concern about parental responsibility and the need to protect children from situations they should not witness.

“What really pained me about the video was seeing the child come into the room while the two adults were being intimate. I am a mother, and there is no way I would be in a room with a man and allow my little child to walk in and see us in that situation. I would feel ashamed,” Louisa Adinkra further stated.
