Ghanaian social media personality, Big Paradise, has opened up about the reasons behind his breakup with Adwoa Tee, revealing that constant disagreements over what he described as minor issues contributed to the collapse of their relationship.
Speaking on The Delay Show, Paradise disclosed that he and Adwoa Tee began dating in January but ended their relationship around June after repeatedly clashing over issues he considered insignificant.
According to him, their frequent disagreements gradually created tension in the relationship and eventually led to their separation.
“The relationship ended because of disagreements. It’s a whole lot. Sometimes, someone will understand you; another wouldn’t. We disagreed on minor issues. We were fighting over nonissues,” he explained.
His comments come after Adwoa Tee also publicly spoke about their breakup, including advice she shared with women regarding relationships with younger men.
However, Paradise has rejected suggestions that their age difference contributed to the end of the relationship.
For him, age should not determine who two people can love, insisting that genuine feelings can exist regardless of age.
“Love goes where love is. If you love somebody, age doesn’t matter,” he said.
Paradise further explained that the age gap between him and Adwoa Tee was minimal, saying she is only about a year older than him.
“We’re all in our twenties. She’s barely a year older than I am. Comments that she was older than me weren’t relevant. It never bothered me,” he added.
Adwoa Tee has previously attributed some of the challenges they experienced to misunderstandings and pressure from social media. Despite the difficulties, she acknowledged that she had genuine feelings for Paradise.
