Popular Ghanaian YouTuber and content creator ZionFelix has taken viewers behind the scenes of Verna Mineral Water production after touring Twellium Industrial Company’s facility to learn how the bottled water is processed from source to finished product.

The tour offered a detailed look at the various stages involved before a bottle of Verna reaches consumers.

According to the production team, water received from Ghana Water Company is first stored in large tanks, where it undergoes primary disinfection and regular quality checks. Samples are taken throughout the process to monitor its physical, chemical and microbiological quality.

The water then passes through several treatment stages, including ultra-filtration, carbon filtration, ultraviolet disinfection and reverse osmosis. Minerals are subsequently added before final filtration and another UV treatment. Ozonation is also used before filling to provide an additional layer of protection.

ZionFelix also toured the production line, where preforms are heated and blown into bottles before being filled, capped, labelled and packaged. Much of the operation is automated, with inspection systems removing bottles that fail quality checks.

The facility’s team said its quality department monitors the process at different stages, while finished products undergo testing before being released to the market.

The tour ended at the packaging and warehouse section, where robotic systems arrange finished packs onto pallets before they are prepared for dispatch.
