Bishop Daniel Obinim has sparked reactions on social media after publicly reading out what he claims are the demands his estranged wife, Florence Obinim, has made as part of their ongoing divorce proceedings.
The founder of the International God’s Way Church reportedly made the revelations during a church service in Tema on October 13, 2026. Footage of the service, broadcast on OB TV and subsequently shared on TikTok by account @babyannn22, captured the controversial preacher standing behind a podium with a document in hand as he addressed his congregation.
In what appeared to be a reading of a court document, Bishop Obinim went through several alleged requests attributed to Florence, including a reported demand for GH¢20 million and ownership of some properties associated with him.
According to the claims he read out, the properties in question include a property at House Number 99 Nii Kwei Mensah Street, an apartment complex, his guesthouse at Abroso and their residence in Barcelona, Spain.
The Abroso guesthouse was also mentioned during the service, with reports indicating that the facility had recently been engulfed by fire.
Obinim further claimed that Florence was seeking monthly financial support of GH¢10,000 to cover medical expenses should she fall ill. He also referred to additional requests reportedly connected to hospitalisation costs.
Another significant claim raised by the preacher concerned the International God’s Way Church building in Tema. Obinim alleged that his estranged wife was seeking the church property as part of the settlement, alongside other reliefs the court might grant at the conclusion of the proceedings.
While reading the alleged demands, the outspoken man of God repeatedly questioned the requests and challenged what he portrayed as the justification for the properties and financial support being sought.
At one point, he questioned why Florence would require separate apartment arrangements, expressing his apparent disagreement with aspects of the alleged settlement.
The public reading of the document has since drawn attention to the couple’s reported marital dispute, particularly because the details were presented before members of the congregation and later circulated online.
