Ghanaian highlife musician Akwaboah Jnr and his wife, Theresa, have reacted to rumours suggesting that their marriage has ended.
The musician’s marriage is one of the relationships that is frequently discussed on TikTok, with some users mostly claiming that the couple have separated and that his wife has allegedly packed her belongings and left their matrimonial home.
The latest one has seen Akwaboah and his wife respond to the rumours in a humorous manner and made fun of those who have repeatedly suggested that their relationship is over.
In a new video shared on TikTok on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, Akwaboah was seen with his wife as they addressed the persistent claims about the state of their marriage.
In the video, the musician hilariously asked his wife whether she was not the same woman social media users had been claiming had packed her things and left him.
Akwaboah’s wife, who appeared to be pregnant in the video, responded hilariously, suggesting that those making such claims would eventually have to explain themselves because they would never have any evidence to substantiate their allegations.
Her response also conveyed the message that the unfortunate outcome some people seemingly want for their marriage would never happen, as she dismissed the speculation surrounding their relationship.
Akwaboah and Theresa tied the knot in May 2024, holding their traditional marriage ceremony on May 3 before their white wedding on May 4.
