Mr Eazi has revealed that his most lucrative career engagement came not from singing on stage but from entertaining a crowd as a master of ceremonies (MC).

The Ghanaian-Nigerian musician made the revelation during an interview on 3Music, where he recounted how an event he hosted in the South of France earned him more money than any performance he had ever undertaken as a musician.

Mr Eazi also disclosed that his MC duties have taken him to large-scale events in Sweden, where he has commanded audiences ranging from 7,000 to 10,000 people without performing any of his songs.

“The most money I’ve ever been paid as an artiste, I didn’t get paid as Mr Eazi. I got paid as the MC in the South of France. You should see the shows,” he disclosed.

Sharing another experience from his work as a host, he explained how he managed to keep thousands of people entertained in Sweden without having to pick up a microphone to sing.

“I did a show with a capacity of about 7,000 to 10,000 people in the middle of Sweden, where I didn’t even perform one song. I was just saying, ‘Are you ready now? One, two, three, go!’”

The musician expressed appreciation for the opportunity to remain active in music while exploring other areas of the entertainment business, noting that his career has afforded him opportunities beyond performing.

He also reflected on his album, The Evil Genius, describing it as a creative expression of his thoughts and state of mind during the period he worked on the project.

“I feel like I’ve been blessed to still be doing music. I put out my album, The Evil Genius, because that’s where my head was. It’s a piece of art, but for my fans who know me, they were taking it,” Mr Eazi stated.
