American singer and songwriter, Beyoncé has revealed how the ‘Black Is King’ visual album was created.

In a video sighted by Zionfelix.net, the popular American singer and record producer said the production began from her backyard.

From there, her next destination was Johannesburg, Ghana, London, Belgium, and one other place.

Beyoncé came to Ghana for the shooting after she featured Shatta Wale on the ‘Already’ song off her 2019 album ‘The Lion King: The Gift’.

She stated that it was really a journey to bring this film to life.

Beyoncé hoped this film would shape the global perception about the word ‘Black’.

The yet to be released film and visual album was directed, written and executive produced by Beyoncé.

It is expected to be premiered on Friday, July 31, 2020.
