The family of late Ghanaian Hi-life music sensation, Kofi Boakye aka Kofi B announced 26th April 2020 as the date for his final funeral rites in Accra during his one-week observation rites on Sunday, February 16, 2020.

However, new information gathered by zionfelix.net suggests that the date has been changed to March 28, 2020.

This was revealed by his brother, Osei Kofi in an interview with Peace FM’s entertainment review show hosted by Kwesi Aboagye on Saturday afternoon.

He also confirmed that the venue for the final funeral rites will be at the forecourt of the State House.

According to Osei Kofi, this change of date was necessitated after their family in Asante Akyem Agogo failed to go with the earlier for some tangible reasons.

He also urged all sympathizers and well-wishers to still come out and mourn with them on this new set date.
