Ghanaian actor, Kofi Adjorlolo, has descended angrily on Ghanaians movie producers who supposedly owe him huge sums of money for casting him in their movies.
In an interview with IB of Joy News sighted by zionfelix.net, Mr. Adjorlolo revealed that seven big producers owe him and have not even bothered to even get him his money.
He stated: “Some of the producers in Ghana have to respect themselves. An old man like me, they will call me to work and they can’t pay me. About 7 producers in this country owe me. Why? And I’m sitting in the house and I’m hungry. And when I’m sick too they don’t mind me. I’m being real here. All the big producers in this country owe me. Actors in this country know what I’m talking about. Producers don’t pay. Producers owe actors. As for the young actors they don’t even pay them because of the passion they have for acting, they just do the work. I’m saying this because I’m very angry”
When asked why he will continue to act if he does not get paid for the ones he has already done, the award-winning actor stated that it is because he has a passion for the job.
