It appears veteran Ghanaian musician, Gyedu Blay-Ambolley, has gone missing after Okyeame Kwame decided to sue him over defamation.

Some months ago, Okyeame Kwame threatened to sue the veteran musician over a derogatory remark he made about him when speaking on TV3.

The lawyers of Okyeame Kwame gave him 72 hours to retract and apologize but he refused to do so.

In a letter written by Kwame’s solicitors, they explained Mr Ambolley’s defamatory comment was made on TV3 where he alleged that Okyeame Kwame did not pay back a GHC 50,000 loan given to him by the President of the Musicians Union of Ghana, Bice Osei Kuffour.

Okyeame Kwame’s lawyers indicated that the false statement made by Gyedu-Blay Ambolley has lowered the reputation of their client.

They cautioned that they won’t hesitate to seek legal redress if he fails to apologize and retract the false statement through the same medium he used with 72 hours.

A suit was filed against after his failure to adhere to their demand. Months after the suit, Okyeame Kwame has revealed the bailiff has tried all that he could, but he is yet to find Mr Ambolley.

He wrote in a post sighted by Zionfelix.net: “We have been trying to give this writ to Mr Gyadu-Blay Ambolley since March this year but the bailiff couldn’t find him to deliver. So pls if you know where the legend is, pls tell him the court is looking for Him. He must report within 8 days. This document is legal. Thank You #itsOK #rapdacta #MIG
