I’ll Choose Obrafour Over Okyeame Kwame Any Day – Guru

Guru On Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show

Hiplife artiste Nana Adjei Maradona popularly known as Guru says he still stands by his words that Obrafour raps better than his competitor Okyeame Kwame.

The ‘Lapaz Toyota’ during “Who Is Who?” segment on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show was asked to name who he believes is the best among the two rappers — Obrafour and Okyeame Kwame. Guru who did not think twice about the question mentioned the Execution Entertainment signed artiste.

Guru said “You know I will go for Obrafour”. When later asked to choose his best dancehall artiste between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, the boss of NKZ music disclosed that “you know that all these boys are my squad, so I can’t choose one”.

This statement pushed host of the show, Zionfelix to ask if Okyeame Kwame is not part of his friends since he easily chose the ‘Pae Mu Ka’ hitmaker over him without pondering over the question. The raper responding to the question said yes and added that “I didn’t come into the game with him”.

Guru who has been rumoured to be battling Okyeame Kwame refuted the claim on the show. To him, there is no iota of truth in the hearsay that he is beefing the rapper real name Kwame Nsiah Appau.

To prove that the two have no issue, the 30-year-old rapper revealed that they have been trying to work on a song for the past two years but their busy schedules have not allowed them.

Meet The Highest Earning Ghanaian Blogger Who Makes About Gh500,000 In A Month (PHOTOS)

Akesse Moise Sanza

The blogging world in Ghana has grown with many young guys following their passion.

Most bloggers in the country focus on the creative arts industry with few trying their hands on sports, travel, fashion and others. Not long ago, Zionfelix.net reported about the amount of money the most popular blogger in the country, Ameyaw Kissi Debrah earns in a month.

Ameyaw Debrah might be the most popular blogger in the country but might not be the highest earning blogger in Ghana – I stand to be corrected. Truth be told, managing entertainment blog in Ghana does not fetch enough cash as compared to other niche like education, insurance, travel and many others.

Today, Zionfelix.net brings you closer to one guy who has been bagging over Gh100,000 monthly from his blogs.

Akesse Moise Sanza is a Ghanaian travel blogger who has been in business for four years. He tells us that “I do Travel Blogging and any other niche that I find it paying at a point in time. For the past four years, I have done travel, entertainment, satire, general news, and US-targeted News blogs.”

When asked about the difficulties that come with his job, Akesse replied that I always see difficulties as a new subject under the blogosphere to research on. I have been reading on how to fight the monopoly enjoyed by Facebook and the heartbreaks accompanied by the use of adsense.”

The travel blogger who said he works with three other people on his blogs disclosed that he pays them based on the volume of tasks accomplished at the end of each month.

Talking about the amount he makes at the end of each month from all his blogs, Akesse Sanza who hails from Duase near Konongo in the Ashanti Region told Zionfelix.net that he earns around $120,000 which is Gh526,732.

“The blogging revenue generation has been up and down. Before recently, I was earning $10k to $30k monthly. There was a month I jumped as high as $63k. For the past few weeks, I have maintained an average of $30k weekly.

I opted for weekly payouts due to the questions I may have to answer to receive such huge amount at a go. The company strictly pays out monthly but considered my concerns.

The married man with two children further said he sponsors all his trips to other countries just to get content for his travel blog.

To him, people who visit his blogs are from foreign countries which helps him to earn more cash from online advertisers.

Akesse Sanza manages the blog jetsanza.com

Below are screenshots of alerts from his bank informing him about cash deposited into his account by advertisers.

My Mother Deserves State Burial – Awurama Badu’s Son

38

Ceaser Ohene Karikari, son of the legendary highlife musician Awurama Badu has opined that his late mother deserves a state burial.

Speaking to Zionfelix on Radio Univers in Accra Monday morning, Mr. Ohene Karikari said he agrees with critics who believe the ‘Medofo Adaade Me’ singer needs the funeral organised by the state to honour people of national significance.

According to him on the station’s mid-morning entertainment show, Brunch2Lunch, the decease has entertained Ghanaians for years so it will be right for the country to honour her with such a prestigious ceremony.

Ceaser added that he will not force government to organise such event for his mother but family of the dead would be happy if such a decision is taken.

Awurama Badu died on Thursday, October 26, 2017 evening around 6:30 leaving behind four children – two males and two females.

Ceaser Ohene Karikari disclosed that the One-Week celebration for the musician comes off on Friday, November 3 at Effiduase Banko in the Ashanti Region.

PHOTOS: Yaa Asantewaa Old Girls Save School From Looming Sanitation Danger

0

Yaa Asantewaa Old Students Association has averted what could have been a sanitation crisis in the school, with completion of a modern 12-Seater place of convenience.

With a student population currently of over 2,000, facilities are obviously overstretched. Students have had to contend with increased pressure on limited facilities in the face of growing numbers.

Headmistress, Esuande Eshun-Fameyeh, describes this as timely, intervention by the former students to complete the abandoned project, initiated by the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly.

“It has been documented that in schools where there are no toilets girls stay away when they are in their menstruation period. We need about a hundred more toilets where these girls can quickly rush in there when they are in their period and clean themselves”, she says.

Miss Eshun-Fameyeh revealed students had to visit the lavatories and bathrooms, in turns, especially, in the mornings. This encouraged lateness to school gatherings and also threatened smooth academic work.

According to the headmistress, high level of discipline among students prevented the dreaded situation of open defecation in the school. She acknowledges the critical role the Old Students Association has to play in maintaining high standards in their alma mater.

Miss Eshun-Fameyeh proposes renovation of the school’s facilities to support modern education.

“I want to urge all students to show interest in the association and help maintain the status of the school. This school made them”, she added.

President of Yaa Asantewaa Old Students Association, Diana Adu-Danquah says members are committed to mobilizing resources to improve conditions at the school.

She encourages all past students to join the association in the service of the school to maintain high academic and moral standards.

“Government cannot satisfy the needs of every secondary school so we as old students will have to set in and fill the gap. We will not end it here, we learn there need more toilets and we will consider all that”, she added.
