Gradually, the COVID-19 pandemic is being accepted as the ‘new normal’ as the various restrictions imposed by the President Akufo-Addo government are being lessened.

The current address by the President of Ghana on Sunday evening will come as a piece of good news to event organizers and entertainers in the country.

In his update no. 15 on measures taken against the spread of the Coronavirus, which was monitored by Zionfelix.net, President Akufo-Addo announced that restriction of the number of people who can attend conferences, workshops and award events has been lifted.

“The limit on the number of persons who can attend conferences, workshops and award events has now been lifted. Subject to the maintenance of social distancing amongst participants, fresh air ventilation of the premises, and a two-hour limit for each session,” he stated.

However, Beaches, pubs, cinemas and nightclubs are still to remain closed until further notice.
