Jus Soli law or birthright citizenship according to the Encyclopedia Britannica is a process whereby citizenship is acquired by birth within the territory of the state, regardless of parental citizenship; and jus sanguinis, whereby a person, wherever born, is a citizen of the state if, at the time of his or her birth, his or her parent.

So as things stand now, Tracey‘s son is a holder of one of the most powerful passports in the world, and in the future when he becomes his own man, he would not need to queue at embassies for visas when he wants to travel to some 186 countries.
