The writer is Osei Chris Kofi. I have three strong passions in life — football, blogging and movies — in that order. I love spending time with friends talking about the important things in life and hate nothing more than ‘authority’ and hypocrisy. My personal believe in life is that once an individual sets his/her mind to achieve something, it is totally possible. And oh!, I am a strong Lannister, because I always pay my debt. One of Kumawood’s interesting faces behind the cameras, Samuel Yaw Dabo aka Yaw Dabo has stated that the era where people decided to judge people solely based on their education qualification is no more.

According to the diminutive actor, many people who do not have any great educational background in Ghana are doing a lot of laudable works which deserve mention. The ‘Megye Wo Girl’ actor made this bold statement when he was speaking about the fact that many of his classmates from the JHS cannot compare themselves to him because of his succes in life at the moment

Speaking on the latest episode of the ‘Celebrity Ride’ show hosted by Nana Yaw Adomako aka Zionfelix, he disclosed that many of his mates will see him now and run a lot of accolades on him for achieving these great feat in the Ghana entertainment industry.

Even though he was all about his achievement as a JHS dropout, Yaw Dabo was quick to state categorically that he was never preaching that education was bad. He emphasized that the decision to drop out of school and pursue a different dream is very risky, especially if it turns out to be a wrong one.
