Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese has waded into the Ghanaian currency debacle.

The outspoken rapper has made a prediction on how the Ghana cedi will be faring against the dollar by the end 2022.

Financial media company, Bloomberg has declared the cedi as the worst performing currency against the US dollar among the close to 150 currencies being monitored by them.

According to a Joy News report two days ago, some forex bureaus in the country were selling the dollar at Gh¢14.50.

The cedi has lost 52% of its value this year according to Bloomberg, depreciating at a rate of 9.5%, an all time high in 22 years.

According to Kwaw Kese, this is just the beginning of the cedis’ woes.

He predicted that the currency will be trading at GH¢20 to a dollar by the end of this year.
