Popular and outspoken actress, Lydia Forson has reacted to the extension of the sim card registration deadline.

The actress stated that the game plan of the government has been to frustrate Ghanaians all along.

Lydia Forson was reacting to the announcement of extension of the deadline of the sim card registration exercise from 31st July to 30th September 2022.

The extension became necessary following sustained pressure from Ghanaians on social media and in mainstream media.

The minister of Communication, Ursula Owusu also announced that a new app will be made available for those who are yet to register their sim cards to register at a fee.

Amidst all this, Lydia Forson in a tweet wondered why the government waited till last minute before introducing this new measures and extending the deadline.

Drawing a conclusion, the vociferous actress made it clear that she doesn’t find any other reason than a deliberate plan by the government to make Ghanaians panic in despair.
