Following his breakup with Fella Makafui, Medikal says the priority now is clear cut, their daughter comes first, and everything else stays out of the way.
During a discussion on Starr Showbiz with Feeling Daddy, the rapper, born Samuel Adu Frimpong, spoke about how he and his former partner have settled into a calm co-parenting rhythm, built around mutual respect and shared responsibility.
“Oh, it’s a very cool one. We are co-parenting nicely. You know, she’s taking good care of Island,” he said.

He explained that their relationship today exists only within the scope of parenting. There are no casual visits or personal hangouts, just conversations when decisions about their daughter need to be made.
“I mean, we don’t meet and stuff. She doesn’t come home and stuff but I mean, we talk anytime that when there’s need be to talk concerning Island and what to do for Island,” the rapper clarified.
Medikal also pointed to the effort he puts into staying present in his daughter’s life, saying the time they share matters deeply to him and is always well spent.
“Anytime Island comes too, we spend a good time. We have a quality time. I take good care of her,” he added.
