For fans who have followed his journey since his emergence from MTN Hitmaker, the news may come as not entirely surprising looking at activities happening at Lynx Entertainment in the last few years.
Many would note that KiDi’s exit comes not long after his former label mate Kuami Eugene also parted ways with Lynx Entertainment.
Recently, in a recent interview on Asempa FM, Kuami Eugene revealed that contrary to public speculation, it was actually the label that made the decision to let him go.
He further disclosed that Lynx organized a send-off party for him, painting a picture of a more structured and amicable separation than many had assumed.
Well, KiDi joined Lynx around 2016 and quickly rose through the ranks, evolving from a promising young talent into one of Ghana’s most consistent hitmakers.
Songs like “Odo,” “Enjoyment,” and the global smash “Touch It” became anthems, while projects such as Sugar and The Golden Boy solidified his place among the elite.
During his time with the label, KiDi amassed numerous accolades, including the prestigious Artiste of the Year award at the then Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, alongside multiple chart-topping releases and international recognition.
