Ghanaian comic actor and content creator Ras Nene aka Dr. Likee has confirmed reports that he indeed sold his personal car to finance his successful comedy show at Indigo at The O2 in the United Kingdom.
Speaking in a chat with Zionfelix after the event, the celebrated actor subtly reacted to some claims made by Lilwin that he was supposed to be on the show because it was being organized by one big man they all know, however, he was taken off because someone had an issue with him.
Likee mentioned that because of the show and the sacrifice he wanted to make so it happened, he sold his car. “When I return to Ghana, I won’t even have a car to sit in,” he stated.

Dr. Likee made the revelation while also appealing to the public over his missing wallet which reportedly got lost in the UK.
The actor disclosed that the missing wallet contained over £3,000, alongside other currencies including US dollars and Ghana cedis, as well as important personal items such as his bank cards and SIM card.
Despite the financial difficulties and personal loss, Dr. Likee maintained that his decision was intentional because he wanted to inspire younger creatives in the entertainment industry.
According to him, he took the bold step to encourage upcoming talents and reassure them that success in the creative industry requires faith, determination and sacrifice.
He stressed that his move would serve as motivation for others to believe in the entertainment craft and understand that the industry is worth investing in, even when it demands personal sacrifices.
