The public conversation surrounding the marriage of founder of International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, and his wife, gospel musician Florence Obinim, continues to attract attention following recent comments from the popular Ghanaian preacher about the challenges they have faced as a couple.
The issue gained momentum after Bishop Obinim made remarks suggesting that there have been difficulties within their marriage, including concerns about his wife’s circle of friends and certain developments around her.

His comments sparked several discussions among Ghanaians, with many questioning whether the long-standing marriage between the two personalities was heading towards separation.
However, in a recent video addressing his congregation, Bishop Obinim has moved to calm fears surrounding the situation, assuring his followers that he is committed to protecting his marriage and has no intention of ending his union with Florence Obinim.
According to the man of God, although every marriage can experience challenges, nothing currently happening will push him to divorce the gospel musician.
“I have already promised you that I will not divorce her. You can save this particular video, but I just want to take some time away,” Bishop Obinim stated.
The preacher further explained that if there ever comes a time when he decides to end the marriage, he will not hide the decision from the public but will personally communicate it.
“If I ever decide to divorce her, I will inform all of you when I make up my mind,” he added.
Bishop Obinim also reacted to public perceptions surrounding the issue, saying some people have portrayed him as the person at fault in the marriage. According to him, if he was truly the kind of person some people describe him to be, Florence Obinim would have left him a long time ago.
“People are making it seem as though I am the bad person. If I were truly a bad person, Florence Obinim would have left me a long time ago,” he said.
