Ghanaian music star Black Sherif has shown his support for the Black Stars ahead of their opening game at the 2026 FIFA World Cup after paying a surprise visit to the team’s camp in the United States.
The musician, who recently won the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) Artist of the Year award, visited the players during their preparations for football’s biggest tournament.
As part of his visit, Black Sherif interacted with the players and shared words of encouragement with the squad ahead of their first match.
The musician also entertained the team by performing some of his popular songs with the players, turning the camp into a lively atmosphere filled with music and excitement.
The Black Stars players were seen enjoying the moment with the “Popstar” hitmaker as they sang some his songs word for word.
Black Sherif’s gesture comes at a time when the national team is receiving massive support from Ghanaians as they prepare to represent the country at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Black Stars arrived in the United States for their final preparations before the tournament and are focused on making a strong statement on the world stage.
