The wife of Kumawood actor Stephen Yaw Mawunyo, popularly known as Oteele, has angrily reacted to suggestions that she may have played a role in the circulation of his private video that has recently sparked widespread discussion on social media.
In a video sighted during a TikTok Live session, Oteele’s wife vehemently denied the suggestion and insisted that she had nothing to do with the leak.
According to her, Oteele has allegedly been going around telling people close to them that she was behind the circulation of the video because she knew about some of the things he had allegedly been doing outside their marriage.
She claimed that her husband had even gone to their pastor’s wife and other pastors to suggest that she could be responsible for the leak.
Angered by the allegation, she reportedly challenged Oteele to stop making what she described as false accusations against her.
She argued that her husband knew very well that she had been aware of several issues concerning his alleged relationships with other women and therefore should not turn around and accuse her of leaking the video.
According to her, Oteele has allegedly been involved with several women outside the marriage and she claimed to have knowledge of numerous conversations and video calls involving him and other women.
She further alleged that there was even another woman with whom Oteele allegedly had a child who was about three months old, for which reason the actor had failed to provide her with the necessary upkeep in recent time.
She went on to make another serious claim concerning the woman reportedly connected to the controversy.
According to her, if Oteele was going to tell the truth about what happened, he should admit that he was the person who pleaded with the woman not to release the video after she allegedly became angry with him over comments he had made to her.
She therefore questioned why he would subsequently turn around and suggest that she was responsible for the leak.
The actor’s wife also issued a stern warning to Oteele, asking him to stop making accusations against her before she is forced to publicly disclose what she claims to know about his relationships with other women.
She suggested that she has information about several of the women allegedly involved with her husband and warned that she could mention names and reveal details if the accusations against her continued.

For now, the claims made by Oteele’s wife remain allegations, while the public continues to await further clarification from the actor himself regarding the accusations and the circumstances surrounding the circulation of the video.
