Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy has successfully staged the London edition of his highly anticipated BHIM Festival at the iconic OVO Arena Wembley on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
The concert, which marked Stonebwoy’s first headline performance at the prestigious London venue and the first time a Ghanaian artiste has headlined the arena, lived up to the huge expectations that surrounded it.
From the organisation of the event to the turnout, the show appeared to have gone according to plan, with the concert getting underway as scheduled and attracting encouraging numbers of patrons.
Videos from the event seen online showed a visibly packed auditorium, with large numbers of music lovers turning up to support Stonebwoy and the array of artistes billed for the historic BHIM Festival.
Patrons were seen singing along, dancing and enthusiastically enjoying the performances.
As has become characteristic of Stonebwoy’s major concerts, the opening was also a spectacle in itself. The dancehall star made a strong entrance, accompanied by what appeared to be an Asian-inspired band, creating an energetic and visually engaging beginning to the headline performance.
The opening immediately set the tone for what would become an exciting night as Stonebwoy went on to take charge of the stage and give the London audience a taste of his trademark Afro-dancehall energy.
The BHIM Festival featured a strong Ghanaian and international lineup, including Samini, Ofori Amponsah, Kwabena Kwabena, DopeNation, Stylo G, Mista Silva, Jux and Mr. P, giving patrons a blend of highlife, Afrobeats and dancehall.
The successful staging of the London edition represents another major milestone for Stonebwoy and the BHIM Festival, which has grown from a Ghana-based music event into a platform capable of taking Ghanaian and African music to major international venues.
