Ghanaian media personality Ohemaa Woyeje has urged men to be more cautious about the company they keep and the situations they find themselves in, following the gruesome murder of popular phone dealer Terry Yaw Kyere, known as Dinero.
Dinero, a well-known phone dealer at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra, was reported missing on September 22, 2026, after leaving home. His disappearance later took a disturbing turn when his body was reportedly found at Teshie, leaving his family, friends and associates devastated.
The Ghana Police Service has since arrested three people in connection with the alleged kidnapping and murder of the 33-year-old businessman as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Reacting to the tragedy in an Instagram post, Ohemaa Woyeje expressed concern over the circumstances surrounding Dinero’s death and warned men to exercise greater caution, particularly when dealing with people they meet or relationships they keep private.
She suggested that the tragedy could potentially have been avoided had Dinero been more careful about the people and situations he trusted.
Ohemaa Woyeje also referred to some women as “Delilahs” and cautioned both single and married men against blindly accepting invitations to visit women, particularly when they are involved in secret relationships or affairs.
“Many guys have died from visiting women’s houses! There are many Delilahs in town! Singles and married men, please beware!” she said.
According to the media personality, men should not assume that every invitation is harmless simply because it comes from someone they know or trust.
She further warned against allowing sexual temptation or secret relationships to cloud judgement, stressing that seemingly ordinary encounters can sometimes expose people to serious danger.
“Sometimes what looks like a simple visit, a secret affair, or a ‘harmless hookup’ can put you in a dangerous situation. Not every invitation is innocent, and not everyone you trust has good intentions.
“This is not about saying all women are dangerous. It’s about being careful, especially when you are involved in secret relationships or affairs,” she added.
Her comments come as the circumstances surrounding Dinero’s death continue to generate concern. Three suspects have been arrested so far, according to the police.
The suspects, identified as Philip Dzifa Kofi Tefe, Sarah Osei Adams and Josiah Obodai, were arrested following investigations by the Police Missing Persons Unit.
