Kumawood actor, Emmanuel Kwame Appiah Kubi, otherwise known as Quappiah, has said he started selling cigarette at a very tender age.

At the age of fourteen (14), Quappiah revealed on the ‘Uncut Show’ with Zion Felix how lucrative the cigarette business was.

He recounted the business started after he joined his mother at the ‘Mental Quarters’ in Accra from Nkoranza.

Quappiah confessed most of the people who patronized his cigarette business were mentally challenged.

According to him, these mentally challenged individuals couldn’t stop mentioning his name when they realize he has closed from school, as they have waited for a long time for him to serve them with cigarettes.

Quappiah stated that earnings from this business aided him through school while his mother was also supporting.

Apart from the cigarette business, the actor disclosed helping his Auntie at Kantamanto who was dealing in clothing when growing up.
