Social media sensation, Rosemond Alade Brown aka Akuapem Poloo converted to Islam on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
The mother of one shared the news about her conversion online when she shared some photos to thank the Deputy Imam of ASWAJ Ga West and Cheif Imam on Nsakina Quran Reciter and his board for assisting her to fully convert from Christianity.
Just as expected, the reports about her conversion to Islam received a lot of reactions on social media.
A lot of netizens decided to make many suggestions as to why she has converted to Islam even though she is fully aware that most of the things she mostly does on social media are haram.

Amid the reactions and the backlash she has been receiving, Akuapem Poloo has come out to provide some details about why she decided to convert.
In a self-recorded video she shared online, Akuapem Poloo revealed that her decision to convert to Islam has nothing to do with pressure from anyone, especially a man who supposedly wants to marry her.
She added that the Islamic Religion is one she has also admired which is why the father of her nine-year-old son is even a Muslim.
Akuapem Poloo also stressed that she has many Islam friends who have guided her on this journey and warned people who are casting insinuations to stop before they incur the wrath of Allah.
