Lynx Entertainment’s Kuami Eugene has expressed his utmost frustration about how Ghanaians rather quickly tag musicians as either ‘dead’ or ‘old ones’ immediately they don’t hear them put out bangers for a little while.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo of Accra FM’s mid-morning show, Kuami shared the bitter experience he had with a bartender at a restaurant recently.

He told Nana Romeo that he was shocked when the bartender who was proudly playing the old songs of Nigerian musicians like Timaya, P-Square, and others will gather the courage to tell him the likes of Bisa Kdei, Pappy Kojo and Ofori Amponsah are ‘dead’ in the music industry.

The “Obiaato” hitmaker stressed that he put the guy to his place and begged Ghanaians that they should not end the careers of musicians who have so much more to offer abruptly all in the name of ‘dead careers’.
