Ghanaian gospel musician, Patience Nyarko has loss her cool again following a statement made by Kwame OB Nartey of Vision 1 FM.
Speaking in an interview with Black Eye on Adom FM which was monitored by Zionfelix.net, Patience Nyarko was not happy about the presenter’s assertion that Joe Mettle is the only gospel musician who has an international appeal.
The ‘W’afom Kwan’ singer said it is an insult for the Vision 1 presenter to make such a statement.
She therefore called on OB Nartey to apologize to gospel musicians and producers in the country.
Patience averred it is wrong to build the industry with one person. She appealed for total support for the contribution that every gospel musician is making.
According to her, it is not necessary for all gospel musicians to sing in English. She explained that it would be better if their songs in Twi can win more souls for God in the country and also understood by many Ghanaians.
Patience Nyarko has been on the nerve of Joe Mettle for some days now, her disagreement with OB Nartey follows her statement that Joe Mettle is known for sampling hymns from the church of Pentecost and Methodist.
