Ghanaian rapper, Kwame Nsia Apau, popularly known as Okyeame Kwame, has threatened to sue veteran musician, Gyebu Blay Ambolley if he refuses to retract and apologize to him within 72 hours over a derogatory comment he made about him.

The solicitors of Okyeame Kwame wrote to Gyedu-Blay demanding a withdrawal of the derogatory statement he made in a letter sighted by zionfelix.net.

The letter explained Mr Ambolley’s defamatory comment was made on TV3 where he alleged that Okyeame Kwame did not pay back a GHC 50,000 loan given to him by the President of the Musicians Union of Ghana, Bice Osei Kuffour.

Okyeame Kwame’s lawyers indicated that the false statement made by Gyedu-Blay Ambolley has lowered the reputation of their client.

They cautioned that they won’t hesitate to seek legal redress if he fails to apologize and retract the false statement through the same medium he used with 72 hours.
