Budding Ghanaian music duo, XBoys has bitterly revealed how Asakaa Boys snubbed them when they wanted to collaborate with them.

XBoys, which comprises of Abeka and Stamina told ZionFelix in an interview on the ‘Uncut’ Show the difficulties they go through when they want to feature some of the well-known musicians in Kumasi.

If you would recall, the Asakaa Boys are credited to be the individuals who originated the now popular Kumerica movement.

During the joint interview with ZionFelix, Abeka, a member of the XBoys group said one of the Asakaa Boys, J Berg told him he has done featuring other musicians this year, so it won’t be possible for them to work on a song together.

Meanwhile, Abeka claimed J Berg and him are related, but he was not ready to help them.

According to him, this has been the attitude that most of the popular artistes in Kumasi exhibits.

They lamented that these top artistes in Kumasi are not helping the young ones.

However, they believe collaborating with other artistes will help the development of music in the capital city of the Ashanti Region.
