When Ghanaian chef and restaurant owner, Faila Abdul Razak began her official Guinness World Record attempt of the longest cooking marathon by an individual on New Year day 2024, she received a lot of applause and support from Ghanaians.

Amid all the reactions the process received as it started at the Modern City Hotel where the attempt was being staged, a young cyclist known as Zakaria Mba Mbahiyam decided to travel from Accra to Tamale on his bicycle to watch and support Chef Faila set Guinness World Record for Cookathon.

The trip from Accra to Tamale is reported to be over 625Km, that not withstanding, Zakaria decided to pick up this challenge anyway.

Well, Zakaria finally arrived in Tamale in the early hours of Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

In a video that landed on social media earlier today he was captured on camera by some gentlemen who were riding a motorbike at midnight when he was just about entering Tamale.

He was spotted wearing his t-shirt with Faila’s photo printed on it, and hanging a Ghana flag behind him.

Some few moments ago, fresh photos that emerged from the Modern City Hotel captures the moment he finally arrived at Chef Faila’s cookathon.
