Popular Australia-based Ghanaian multi-talented musician, Mike Akox is out with his newest single track titled ‘Salewa’.

Born in real life as Michael Akosah, Mike Akox who hails from Asante Manpong but lived in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, started singing at the age of 10.

As a nephew of legendary Hi-life musician, Papa She, Mike Akox took inspiration to become a great musician from his uncle.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with www.razzonline.com in line with the inspiration behind his newest single ‘Salewa’, Mike Akox, who is noted with the hit songs,’Love Me, Sorry, and Treat You right, explained that:

‘Salewa’ is my own way of saying beautiful…so the song is about a girl I met who was so very hot — so her beauty got me singing”.Akox said

Crooned in Low-tempo afro-pop vein, Mike Akox didn’t disappoint with his boisterous lyrical content in ’Salewa’ at all.

Under the production of M.A Music,’Salewa’ is actually a great song that can easily vie for the best Afro-pop song of the year award at the 2019 Ghana Music Awards.
