On Thursday, August 17, controversial social media star, Ayisha Modi put together a grand event to launch her new restaurant, Akyire H, which is located at Tabora Alhaji, Accra.

The opening of the restaurant saw a lot of respected personalities in the media space like Angel FM’s Ohemaa Woyeje, Hitz FM’s Tima Kumkum, and many others in attendance.

After weeks of a successful launch, Ayisha Modi has finally come out to reveal what got her to start the business in the first place.

In a chat with Zionfelix, the popular Ghanaian socialite revealed that the boss of AMG Business, Criss Waddle, advised her to start the business.

Ayisha Modi disclosed that Criss Waddle told her to start a business that would always give her money when she came to Ghana for her usual break from work after she asked him for a loan when she literally got ‘broke’ after spending all her money on solving people’s problems when she came to Ghana.

The CEO of the newly-opened traditional-themed restaurant added that after Criss Waddle gave her some $3,000 for upkeep, he advised that she start a business that could fetch her some money anytime she is in Ghana.

She said this advice caused her to open a restaurant, which took her about seven months.
