The controversy surrounding Yvonne’s memoir, where she alleged that Sarkodie coerced her into having an abortion, led the rapper to respond with offensive lyrics in a song titled “Try Me.”

With this backdrop, Mr. Kayi, affectionately known as the “Chairman General” of morning shows in Ghana, counseled Sarkodie to conduct himself in the best possible manner and distance himself from negativity.

He humorously urged the rapper to refrain from releasing derogatory songs as a means of retaliating against his detractors, alluding to Sarkodie’s previous response to Yvonne Nelson.

Overall, Kwami Sefa Kayi used the occasion of Sarkodie’s birthday to deliver a lighthearted yet significant message about maintaining positivity and avoiding unnecessary controversy.
