Despite the fun social media was blessed with on Wednesday night when the first edition of music producers face-off came live on Jay Q’s Instagram platform, legendary music producer/sound engineer, Zapp Mallet felt that he was too big to be put into such a ‘competition’ for fun.
After Zapp Mallet’s expression of disapproval that he was put into the same soup with ‘kindergarten’ music producers, for Sarkodie’s initiated #BehindTheHitz battle and blasted him, Appietus has reacted.
In a tweet sighted on Appietus‘ Twitter handle by zionfelix.net, he made reference to Zapp Mallet’s earlier tweet and stated that there was nothing wrong to have producers of different generations mixed up for such an activity which is merely for fun purposes.
He added that if legends like Zapp Mallet feel that this is disrespectful, then they should return all the awards they have picked up us music producers because they earned it after their works were compared to others.
