Salinko

Actor Abraham Davies, popularly known as Oboy Salinko has revealed that Bishop Daniel Obinim, the founder and leader of the International God’s Way Church and one of Ghana’s most controversial and popular pastors was a ‘small boy’ under his stewardship back in 1995.

Even though it might sound very surprising, Salinko told Zionfelix in the chat they had on the ‘Uncut’ show that this revelation is one that can easily be collaborated by all the people who know about his childhood.

According to him, the actor, comedian and TV/radio presenter people see today started off as a pastor who had a lot of people who respected him for the work he was doing for God.

Salinko disclosed that the Bishop Obinim who is popular today was at the time part of the people in his prayer warrior team. He emphasized that at the time, Obinim was one of the most prayerful people he had seen in his life.

Asked what made him leave the pastoral path, the actor stated that he learned the lyrics of Obrafuor’s song, “Yaanom”. Salinko stressed that because he didn’t want to be caught in two different ships, he decided to be part of the sinful world.
