Ostensibly, the journey has not been an easy one for the CEO of 3Music Awards.

In a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, the Chief Executive Officer of 3Music Awards, Sadiq Adbulai Abu disclosed the difficulties he encountered when he started the award scheme.

He recounted how some artistes and other talents mounted pressure on him for their balance after performing at one of the award nights.

Being engulfed by debts, the former Country Director for Boomplay said he had no option than to use his GH20, 000 salary received from the Transsion’s music streaming service.

Sadly, the CEO of 3 Media Networks disclosed there was only Gh 300 left after he paid off his debts and he had to call on his family members, friends and associates for support.

“2. May, 2019 – Pressure started to mount from talent community seeking the remainders of talent performing fees. Brothers chop hot. – Started paying old debts with my Boomplay salary whilst working for 2020. (Boomplay paid me nearly Ghc 20,000 as country director, but our debts was so heavy, month in month out, I will only have just about Ghc 300 cedis left after paying off debts. Madam, till today no dey understand why then all my money used to finish like that, particularly when few days after end of month, I Dey come borrow money for fuel. 😄😄
