The of organizers of 3Music Awards have today, February 1, 2019, announced nominations for its second edition of the prestigious awards and I must confess, the competition is going to be firey.
The list consists of a repertoire of all the big names on the local movie scene and most of the countries talented and fast-rising acts who have given their fans back-to-back hits in the year under review.
This year’s event has the musicians nominated battling it out for slots like Afrobeat Song of the Year, Gospel Acts of the Year, Fan Army of the Year, Viral Song of the Year, and a few others.
With the like of “Bawasaba” by Stonebwoy, “Uber Driver” by Wendy Shay, “Don’t Keep Me Waiting” by Kwesi Arthur and more fighting for Afrobeat Song of the Year and big names like Joe Mettle, Joyce Blessing, Cwesi Oteng, Diana Hamilton and Bethel Revival Choir in the battle for Gospel Acts of the Year, the competition is certainly tight.
3 Music Awards 2019 is set to take place in March at the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair Centre, which accommodates in excess of 20,000 people. The show’s organizers, led by Sadiq Abudulai Abu have hinted at their press briefings that the 2019 edition of the awards will be bigger and better.
